Description of Barbara - Black
Barbara bowl is made by hand in Sweden out of 3mm thick laser cut acrylic.
"When I realized that I could heat & form the acrylic so easily the possibilities became numerous.
My first bowl BARBARA is named after one of my teachers at the design school in Rome, a fantastic person, creative, vivid & beautiful as the sun".
Swedish designer Myrica Bergqvist started her business myricadesign in 2005.
Her successful first collection-including handmade acrylic bowls, lamps & coasters in multiple colours-
was launched to much acclaim from both domestic & international press.
Her signum piece is the laser cut acrylic headboard in various models.
Easily attached to the wall, every model is like a piece of art in your bedroom.
